Dear Librarians!

As you are having a restful and refreshing summer break, let me plant a seed in your consciousness for you to consider over the next month or so --- share your expertise by presenting at our Fall Conference. We will be offering more than 40 workshops and need presenters from all levels and strands – Inquiry, Literacy, Technology and Professional Issues. For example, if you want to share your how-tos about that lunchtime book club you started with your 5th grade boys (Literacy) OR how having a SmartBoard in your library has transformed your teaching (Technology) OR how your instruction in how to ask a researchable question inspired a 10th grade Health Class (Inquiry) OR how your school (with your help) has tackled plagiarism (Professional Issues) please see the Conference Workshop Proposal Form attached below and complete and return it to me by Friday, September 25, 2009 (or sooner). Click here for an expanded list of workshop topics. Preference will be given to interactive workshops with practical applications. Please provide detailed descriptions of the workshop activities, materials and resources. Hope to hear from lots of you! Please contact me if you have any questions. Have a great summer!

Regards, Elizabeth
